Firm founder Stephanie Jones has been designated a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). The national organization is dedicated to advancing professionalism and competence within the field of matrimonial law. Fellows of the AAML must have substantial experience handling complex legal matters.
“I’m honored to be recognized by this prestigious organization,” Jones said. “Matrimonial law involves consequential and emotionally charged issues, including custody and child support, property division, and maintenance (alimony). That’s why I believe in providing all our clients with effective, compassionate representation during some of the most challenging times they’ll ever face.”
To qualify to become a Fellow of the AAML, the attorney must fulfill criteria and standards as established by the AAML Board of Examiners and Board of Governors. Applicants must pass a rigorous national examination and must be recognized by area Judges and fellow attorneys as a leading practitioner in the area of matrimonial law. In Missouri, applicants also must complete a written examination that is specific to state family law issues.
